WHO HE WAS

Anyone who knew Christopher would describe him as a kind hearted, gentle giant who loved the Lord, diversity and people who some would define as the underdog. With a smile that could light up any room, Chris truly had the gift of joy; he loved life and all it had to offer. 

He spent his college years pursuing his love for history, law, criminal and social justice and of course soccer. Christopher, was often called the minister of love as he found ways to make a difference in the lives of others through acts of love and kindness. During his 26 years, he was a beloved member of his family, a loyal friend and brother to so many, a world traveler and an active member of multiple communities to include: BNA Soccer, HCA Human Resources, ODP, TN United, and Harpeth Soccer to name a few. 

In the fifth grade, Chris declared he’d be a difference maker and when he grew up, he actually followed that dream, graduating from Bethel University with a BS in Criminal Justice. A recent LSAT score of 165 was achieved in his pursuit of a Law degree when his life unexpectedly came to an end, but his spirit and legacy continues to live on. 

The Christopher L. Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established by his family in order to share Christopher’s spirit and legacy.
